Error 403 - Insufficient Privileges
The privileges associated with your University Network ID (UNI) indicate that you do not hold current status as a Columbia University student, faculty or staff member. Access to many of the Libraries' electronic resources is restricted to members of those groups. You may, however, use them at public workstations in the Libraries for study and research.
If you have been denied access for the first time, it is likely that you had been granted extended access during a grace period that has since elapsed.
Faculty and Staff - if you are a formal Columbia faculty or staff member, please contact your departmental administrator, immediate supervisor or department head to verify that your role is current and up to date in the identity system. Campus visitors, consultants and other casual employees generally do not receive access to online resources.
Students - if you are a student currently enrolled in a class, please contact your registrar to confirm your formal status. Students taking a leave of absence or working on a long-term project must speak with the registrar to retain access.
JTS faculty and students do not have remote access to Columbia's licensed electronic resources.
Alumni have access to certain online resources through the Columbia Libraries Alumni webpage.
