General summary:
EMC Labs China established in August 8th , 2011. There will be three laboratories under the EMC Labs China with a respective focus on big data, cloud infrastructure design, and cloud platform and applications. EMC Labs China will work closely with leading universities to promote research and development of big data, cloud infrastructure, and cloud platform and applications. The EMC Labs China will also play an active role in industry organizations to promote standardization in storage industry and cloud computing standardization.
We are looking for people who enjoy working in a team, who are dedicated to the whole team winning, and who see communication and collaboration as important skills to learn and develop. Requirements:
- Ph.D/Masters degree in Computer Science or equivalent from a reputable university
- Outstanding problem-solving skills
- Strong C++/Java coding skills in Linux.
- Have fun doing research is a plus.
- Familiar with PostgreSQL source code is a very big plus.
- Database/OS Kernel programming experience is a plus.
- Solid design and development experience in large distributed systems such as hadoop is a big plus.
- Experience with parallel algorithm is a plus.
- Excellent communication skills in both Chinese and English.
