More than 30 films, both Chinese and foreign, will be played for children in cinemas, schools and communities to celebrate Children's Day on June 1.
Some of the films will debut, such as "ile in Fifteen" and "Running for Success", while some films like "Legend Rabbit" and "Naughty Boy Ma Xiaotiao," which are already well-known by children, will be put on the screen again. Foreign films, such as "The Nutcracker" and "Detective Conan" are also on the list for the holiday celebration.
More than 20 cinemas and movie publishers have joined the activity, and mobile theaters such as the Shaanxi Lizhi campus cinema and Henan Xinhua cinema, will be organized to play films for children in rural areas.
A network named Special Z4one of Children Films will be officially opened on Children's Day. All 545 Chinese children's films made since 1949 will be put online. So far 289 of them are available.
