Job description:
We are looking for a highly motivated candidate for the position of Research Fellow to join a multi-disciplinary atomistic/molecular dynamics simulation team at School of Mechanical and Aerospace Engineering of Nanyang Technological University, Singapore. The candidate would be expected to perform an independent research in atomistic simulation of lubricants used in hard disk drives, by using coarse-grain bead-spring model or any alternative models. He/she will also be involved in undergraduate and graduate student supervision.
Requirements:
Qualified applicant should possess a Ph.D in Physics/Mechanical Engineering/Materials Science with relevant atomistic simulation background, in particular in the area of lubricants. The candidate should possess good publication record which reflects expertise in this area.
Other information:
Salary will be attractive, and commensurate with experience. The programme provides the opportunity to collaborate with scientists from other research institutes in Singapore. The contract is tenable for one year in the first instance and is renewable subject to good progress.
