The postdoc will investigate how mRNA cap methylation and translation is regulated by cellular signalling pathways, oncogenes and tumour suppressors. In addition, the postdoc will investigate the biochemical and biological response to regulation of mRNA cap methylation. The project will be approached using biochemistry, cell biology and molecular biology in a variety of model systems.
