The main focus of the lab is to investigate the role of poly(ADP-ribosylation, a post-translational modification of proteins catalysed by PARPs, in genome integrity, mitotic division and tumorigenesis. The goal of the post-doctoral project will be to investigate the role of a recently identified PARP family member in cellular response to DNA damage and in epithelial plasticity and tumorigenesis within a phenotyping project of knockout mouse and cellular models. The candidate should have a PhD in biological science,. Experience in cell culture, flow cytometry and animal phenotyping is required and technical skills in immunofluorescence microscopy are highly desirable. Demonstrated interest in the fields of cancer biology will be helpful.
