Postdoc Research Assistant required on project to understand the role of signalling cascade in cancer, diabetes and neurodegenerative disorders, undertake molecular, genetic and physiological ysis of novel amino acid transporter using in vivo approaches in flies using immunohistochemistry, GFP fusion constructs and confocal microscopy, undertake genetic. ysis of transporter gene employing mutant, overexpression and RNAi approaches. You will keep records of experiments and contribute to publications. Must have a PhD in relevant area of research, experience of molecular techniques, and broad understanding of the scientific background relating to the research project.
