 Postdoctoral Position in Bioinformatics, Spain

Study Subject: Bioinformatics
Employer: The Center for Research in Agricultural Genomics (CRAG)
Level: Postdoctoral
Fellowship Description: Applications are invited from individuals with a recent Ph.D. degree to join a leader group in plant genomics for one year renewable up to a second year and starting from December 2010.
A strong background in use of Bioinformatic tools for the ysis of genomic sequence is required. Expertise in LINUX and UNIX and programming skills in C++ and Java are also required. Experience in Plant Biology will be valued.
The candidate will join a team that has just completed the sequencing of the melon genome (MELONOMICS: http://melonomics.upv.es) and will be involved in the ysis of the sequence, resequencing of several melon genotypes and SNP discovery.
Application: Candidates should attach a letter of interest, CV, publication list and names of three references in one file.
