This second edition provides indispensable, reliable and comparable Rf values on toxicologically relevant substances. In comparison to the first edition, the number of substances covered has been increased from 1100 to some 1800 for the 10 systems that can be used for general screening purposes. These systems are known to work well for a large variety of drugs. However, additional, special TLC systems may be useful to provide adequate separations within specific chemical or pharmacological groups. Therefore, two special systems for pesticides and one special system to yze benzodiazepine hydrolysis products (benzophenones) in urine have been added.
